With the decline of formal top treatments, decorative drapery hardware has become a central piece of window treatments. Curtain hardware is available in a massive selection of choices from traditional reproductions to modern creative designs. Drapery hardware can be either functional and/or decorative. When the entire rod is covered you can use an inexpensive and purely functional hardware and will not be discussed further here. In the case of decorative hardware, there is an immense selection of styles and materials. Choose a style of hardware that complements your window treatments as well as the other decor and architecture in the room. Many types of hardware cone in wooden, metal, plastic or even stone.
We typically sell rods as a set that include the following:
Additional Drapery Hardware accessories make excellent finishing touches for all types of window treatments. Holdbacks, Tie Backs & Swag Holders - these items are often interchangeable. Holdbacks don't just keep the curtains pulled back from the windows, they add a touch of grandeur to your window treatments. Holdback styles are available in post style or U-shape (embrace) style.
Rings - the most common means of connecting your curtains to the pole. Rings often have a small ring eyelet for holding a hook or clip attached to the fabric panel. Rings come in a variety of styles, materials, thicknesses. Specialty C-rings are available for bypass traverse options. Decorative Traverse Tracks - a decorative pole or facsia that hides the attached traverse track. Curtains are attached to carriers which slide along the track. Traverse tracks are particularly useful for curtains meant to traverse long window expanses. Swivel Arm Curtain Rods are short L-shaped rods that hold a single curtain panel. The swivel arm allows you to rotate the panel 180 degrees.
